Selina Allu, Knowledge Translation Broker

Selina Omar Allu is a health geographer and currently the Knowledge Translation Broker for the Division of Nephrology at the University of Calgary. Selina has an MA in Health Geography coupled with several years of experience in knowledge translation, international development, and working in the not-for-profit sector. Selina has a keen interest in qualitative determinants of health and well being, particularly as it relates to vulnerable populations and chronic disease. She is currently involved in knowledge translation activities for the Interdisciplinary Chronic Disease Collaboration (ICDC), the Alberta Kidney Disease Network (AKDN) and CANN-NET.

Sarah Gil, Knowledge Translation Assistant

Sarah holds a BSc in Biology with Honors in Evolution and Ecology from the University of Western Ontario. She has extensive experience working in the environmental research field. She brings a vast amount of knowledge in many research areas including; literature reviews, writing proposals and final reports, and collecting data. Sarah will be working closely with Selina Allu in supporting the ICDC/AKDN and CANN-NET in various KT activities.
